Charter Guest House is housed in a distinctive Grade II listed red brick building, dating back to circa 1810. Rich in character and history, the building was formerly a bottling plant and has since been thoughtfully restored to blend its historic charm with modern comforts. Guest will receive 15% discount on all food in our restaurant.

When it comes to breakfast, we work with a neighbouring business to offer room rates that include breakfast. Alternatively, you may choose a room-only rate and explore the many cafés and eateries located within easy walking distance of Charter Guest House.

Charter Guest House operates predominantly as self-service, allowing you to enjoy an unintrusive stay. However, our friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff are available 24/7 should you need assistance. We pride ourselves on offering an efficient, welcoming service while giving guests the freedom to enjoy their stay at their own pace.

As an independent guest house, we are pleased to partner with ferry companies to offer ferry discounts for guests travelling with a vehicle to the Isle of Wight. All guests can request a discount link after booking their stay.
